Tennessee Gun Owners is Tennessee's only No Compromise gun rights organization.

Tennessee Gun Owners (TGO) was founded in 2023 after Republican leadership tried to ram through Red Flag Gun Confiscation in response to the Covenant School shooting. If it had passed here, it would have unleashed a wave of copycat laws in Republican states across the country.

TGO exists to make sure that never happens. We fight without apology, mobilizing thousands of grassroots gun owners to hammer politicians until they either stand up for the Second Amendment or get tossed out of office.

In just three years, TGO has defeated Governor Bill Lee’s gun-control session, built a statewide army of activists, and helped elect pro-gun fighters like Michele Reneau — who unseated entrenched incumbent Patsy Hazlewood in 2024.

Today, we’re partnering with pro-gun champions like Jody Barrett, Todd Warner, Michele Reneau, Monty Fritts and others to push for the Second Amendment Protection Act and real pro-gun reforms.
